Physio position available in Taupo - January 2024

About us: 

• We are a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy practice based in Taupo, with a satellite clinic in Turangi. 

• Located next to the town’s largest modern gym, and we utilise this facility for most of our exercise rehabilitation

 

About you: ​

• Registered in New Zealand as a Physiotherapist, with an interest in starting your career in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

• Have excellent oral and written English language skills, with computer literacy ideally withe experience using Microsoft office. 

• You have plenty of energy and are willing to develop your clinic skills and take on new challenges. 

• You want to work in a supportive clinic, which holds regular in-services to develop our clinicians skills. 

 

The Job 

• Full time Position available for a Physiotherapist of any experience 
• Mentoring and professional development will be provided. We are willing to invest strongly in the right person especially in your first few years as a new graduate. We don’t have a set cap on CPD and assess each course on its merit to further developing you as a clinician.
• We are closely aligned with most of the local sports clubs due to our strong interest in sports physiotherapy and provide physiotherapy for the provincial rugby union (King Country). We provide physio cover for many of the sports tournaments that move through Taupo each year.  We make any sports-team work you might do part of the job and is a paid work role.
• We have a close working relationship with all the local medical, surgical, and associated referrers, so there is a strong relationship and reputation for delivering a great service that we are keen to continue.
• The hours worked can be flexible by negotiation to work in with your lifestyle. The clinic is usually open from early morning until late and can accommodate weekend hours if that suits you.
• Assistance with relocation costs to Taupo will be considered.
